The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time contains strong language, as there is in the novel. This occurs at the very beginning of the show and infrequently at other points during the show. There are some scenes that younger children may find distressing. Please note that this production contains loud sound effects, high-intensity lighting and video effects (including strobe lighting), and smoke effects.
Access performances: Saturday 6 April 2019 - 2.30pm performance PLEASE NOTE: This is a Relaxed Performance for people who will benefit from a more relaxed environment, including those with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability, but everyone is welcome to attend. There will be a relaxed atmosphere to entering and leaving the theatre. We also make small changes to the lights and sound in the show.

Such an interesting perspective of the book, delivered in a really unique style. We thoroughly enjoyed the show, which is so different to any theatre production we’ve seen. Highly recommended!

What looked like it was to be a more light hearted play, it was in fact quite an intense experience brilliantly realised by a superb cast, especially the lead actor who was a revelation. Often, challenging this was a play worth seeing before it completed its phenomenal run. Seen principally through the eyes of an autistic boy, the dead dog was merely a device for pealing back personal and family layers. A jewel in the London theatre.
